Culturally Competent Play Therapy During the Holidays: 2020 Edition
Our clientele is increasingly multicultural. Learn how to incorporate best practice, culturally competent play therapy skills and techniques to your practice!
The holiday season brings a host of additional stressors and issues of inclusion in these already difficult times. Clinicians strive to be culturally competent, especially about beliefs and traditions tied to the holiday season. This webinar will serve as a guide for play therapists to navigate a variety of holiday traditions, including play activities that are culturally sensitive. Play Therapists will be able to incorporate learned skills into their clinical approach and techniques into in person and online telehealth services. Ethical considerations, diversity and limitations will also be explored.
